Wellness
As your student progresses through high school, they encounter stressors and pressures. These can include grades, family or friend concerns, extracurricular activities, testing options, making decisions about the future such as attending college, social pressure, and questions about self-identity and image.
Too often students compare themselves to other students and associate perfection with success. During this critical time, it is important to help students develop healthy habits, good study skills and strong coping mechanisms. Parents play a crucial role in their child’s development. Please ensure that your student is getting enough sleep and limiting exposure to social media. Spending time together as a family and setting realistic expectations goes a long way towards a happy student.
