1. When will registration open for AP exams?
Beginning October 25thth until November 5th, Alameda High will open AP registration
2. How much does it cost? Fee waiver?
$96 per exam. Cash or check and you must come to the school to register. You can qualify for a fee waiver by bringing your free and reduced lunch letter or verification via taxes. There is a $40 late fee is you want me to order you a test after Nov 15th.
3. Where do I turn in the money?
Mr. Lee, the AP coordinator will be accepting registrations every day in the lobby of Kofman Theater, C building, inside the Big Pillars Building on Central Ave.
- Mornings-7:45am to 8:15am
- Lunch time 12:30pm to 1pm
- After school 3:30pm-4:00pm (except Wednesdays) 2:45pm to 3:15pm on Wednesdays
4. Once I pay? How do I get confirmation that I am registered?
After you come to pay for the exam, your student will need to complete one more step by taking the access code given to you, logging into their College Board account and completing the registration. Once you complete that step, you can see electronically what tests you are signed up for and where. You will get no more communication from Mr. Lee. Just show up on test day.
5. What is the access code? Where do I get the forms?
The teachers of the AP class are creating an AP classroom with an Access Code. Your student will need to create a new log in or log in to the College Board for registration. The teachers will have electronic forms and it will be on the website.
6. How will the test be given?
The College Board intends to have an in person and full exam in May.
7. Testing Accommodations
If your student qualifies for testing accommodations, there is a letter from the College Board that you must present to the testing coordinator by March so that your student will be given appropriate accommodations. 8. No Refunds
The college board is not offering refunds this year, like they did the previous two school years. Once you pay and register for exams, I will be charged for those exams.
